About Me:: My friends call me Rob and I've had a long love affair with mysticism and particularly Hermetic and Neo-Platonic thought. I am currently working on a paper to be presented at the 5th Annual Conference on Pagan Studies, Entitled "The Workings of Above and Below, a Comment on the Emerald Tablet of Hermes Trismegistus".

I also am interested in medieval European martial arts and have been practicing German and Italian sword and buckler, dusack and longsword forms for almost 10 years.

I work with developmentally disabled children at AbilityFirst's Paul Weston Center.

Favorite TV Shows:: The TV is the Devil's lunch box... when I don't take time to consider this I watch "The Daily Show", "the Colbert Report", "How I met your Mother", "Dr. Who" and "BattleStar Gallactica". Old favorites are "Firefly", "Star Trek", "X-files" and "Northern Exposure"
